Below you will see where we dyed and decorated eggs. In Nathan's basket are the monster eggs we made. Noah got the shiny speckled ones Amanda made.
Saturday we went to the FBC egg hunt. It rained but we had fun hunting eggs and eating hot dogs in the rain! Georgia was on the grade school side. She raced in a few minutes late from her Home Depot workshop and still scored pretty big!
Nathan really got into it this time. The open field was full of eggs to gather and he ran around filling his basket this time and didn't stop until there were no more to be found.Nathan loves to dye eggs just like his daddy. Saturday morning when he woke up at 7:30 his first question was "Can we dye eggs now?"
You can't hardly see it but Noah is sitting on a little straw woven chair that's been in our family for generations. (Right after we snapped this picture he fell face forward on the carpet. Oops!)
Friday when we got there Grandaddy One had Nathan help him plant tomatoes in the garden. How fun it will be when we get to go back and see them growing.
We had a wonderful weekend visiting with many of our family and friends. We got to see Jonathan's house he is buying and hear all about the upcoming wedding. We went to a Cold Stone Creamery where Nathan and Noah fell in love with "red" ice cream. He can have sorbet since it's non-dairy and I took a spoon and dabbed the tiniest bits on it for Noah. He grinned and wiggled over and over for it. Except when I was too slow, trying to eat my own. Then he would whine and demand more! Sunday it was wonderful to be a part of that delicious family dinner but more importantly it was a blessing to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior in church with family. There is too much to share but it was wonderful to see answered prayers! Thank you Mom and Amanda for sharing your pictures!

It was great to have y'all in Pell City! And Meredith made some of the shiny eggs, too. :)
