Imagination Nathan

We are in for some real treats in life I'm sure. This child has some imagination. Today Nathan asked me to go outside so he could fix his pirate ship. I said okay, thinking whatever. We get outside, pirate hat in hand and he puts up his sail and goes running for his wagon and within minutes he had set sail.

Then after a little while his pirate ship turned into a wakeboard like on Wii Sports Resort and he was asking me to hold my controller and play it so he could be the person wakeboarding.

He also loves to play out things he saw happen. Not too long ago we bought a new dryer and had it delivered and installed. Nathan watched in awe as the guy hauled out the old dryer and unloaded the new one to install. Before he even got it installed Nathan was already in the house finding a truck and a dryer to unload and install for me. I've heard that a great imagination is a sign of smartness. We'll see if we grow up with a genius!

Rescue Squad at School

Last week the Rescue Squad truck and paramedics came to visit Nathan's school. The Firemen and Firetruck got doublebooked and so they didn't make it. Mrs. Angie, our former neighbor, came and shared with the kids all about 911 and gave out stickers and 911 suckers. Then the kids all got to take a walk thru of the truck. Mr. Jeremy, (Mrs. Lindsey's husband) happened to be on duty that day so Nathan was quite excited to see him. Noah agreed to posing for a picture but didn't show any real excitement yet about a truck with lights on it. Mr. Sid, the Principal is helping Nathan out of the truck. Maybe next year the Fire Engine and Firemen will get to come.

Mothers Day 2010

Blessed!

Church with my two sweet boys!

For Mother's Day moms with little ones can either go home after church and cook a decent meal and clean up or attempt a decent meal at a restaurant with tired and hungry children. We chose option #2 Lunch at Captain D's ...where Noah proceeded to throw my (thank goodness almost empty) plate in the floor and Nathan punched a hole in the booth seat with my little wooden shrimp skewer. Hmmm...which option will we choose next year?

Playing outside after nap time! And a cookout with friends.
Blessed indeed!

Auburn Baseball

Saturday we went to an Auburn baseball game and had the best time. My family all came down to watch the game with us, which made it even better. The weather was great and Auburn won 16-13! War Eagle!

Hot Dogs and Popcorn and Frozen Lemonade too!
Noah had fun with FeFe and One!

Both of the boys did really well considering the game lasted for 3 1/2 hours. Nathan had lots of fun playing pretend baseball and throwing the ball in the kids area and playing Chick-Fil-A plinko. And then we all went to Chick-Fil-A to eat supper. Yummy!

10 Month Old Noah

Noah is a busy, busy, busy little boy. He is now crawling. He crawled across the blanket in the den for Shane on Saturday for the first time. I'm sure it won't be long before he is going full speed. His favorite food now is cheerios. We started feeding him little bits of table food as well; chicken and ham. Today he ate some tiny bits of sloppy joe. He lights up at the sight of any of his family; mom, dad and especially Nathan. He says "da da", "ma ma", and we heard a little "ba ba" the other day. He also has some form of "na na" for Nathan. We finally got Nathan a booster seat so Noah is out of his carrier car seat and in Nathan's old one in the van. He is also sleeping good thru the night, sleeping from about 7:30 to 5:30-6:00. Praise the Lord! Enjoy the pics...
