Noah's Preschool Fall Party

 Spiderman ready for his preschool party. He started the day by showing me some special spiderman moves.

Noah really enjoyed his first preschool party. He and Mommy were the hosts so he helped me pick out our snacks and plates and napkins for the party the day before. Then at preschool he helped me get the tables ready for everyone. He picked out a seat right beside Claire who is a happy witch and a special friend. Claire's mom told me Claire talks about him a lot and really enjoys playing with Noah. According to Claire, she and Noah have lots of pretend picnics at preschool. After singing the pumpkin song and having a special snack everyone got to line up and go down the hall with their trick or treat buckets and bags and receive treats from all the Immanuel church staff. We didn't know it but there was a spiderman twin that showed up for the party that day too.

I don't know how to sum it up in a post and I can't post 170 pictures at once so I chose these three to say how blessed I am to be able to visit Ethiopia and spend time with these special people.

Visit with Aunt Sumer 2012

Aunt Sumer was in the states for a week and we were blessed to be able to spend the day in Nashville with her and Nanny and Nana. Lots of fun for all at the mall, the playground, spending time at the hotel relaxing, a little shopping and eating lots of good food. Aunt Sumer even got a nap in though I didn't post a picture of that. Blessed to be able to spend the day together.

Nathan is getting so big. We had a fun day going with Nathan's class to the Pumpkin Barn in Melber again. The weather was gorgeous and these sweet people host all the school classes for free and let them pick a pumpkin and feed them a snack and teach them all about pumpkins and gourds.

Nathan and First Grade

So proud of our boys...they love Auburn just like their parents. This is one of Nathan's papers from school I wanted to share. Click on it and you should be able to see it better. I got a phone call from his teacher yesterday, (first thought...what happened?). She asked permission to put Nathan in a second grade classroom for Math because he is so advanced in this area. He is a smart boy!

Garden of the Gods

 

 

A fun day at  Garden of the Gods about an hour from Paducah. The boys had so much fun discovering this beautiful park and climbing every rock they could reach up to. Shane and I did our best to relax and enjoy the scenery while holding our breath as they climbed!
