Summer Break Week One

We have had a fun first week of summer break. Thursday is Shane's day off work so we went to a nearby park and had a yummy lunch at Parcell's bakery include some yummy cupcakes. Then we went to Maggie's Jungle Golf and Jungle Run. The boys were very brave and had fun seeing all the animals and let the goats eat right out of their hands.

Kindergarten with Mrs. Braboy

Nathan was very blessed to be a part of Mrs. Braboy's class this year. Mrs. Braboy is a sweet Christian lady who is so very patient, kind and loving. Nathan enjoyed kindergarten so much and I know a big part of that was his teacher. Nathan can read and write and has started math, addition, subtraction and even some multiplication. Shane and I are proud of him for who he is and how smart he is. We are very blessed.

Monkey Nathan

Sunday night, our children's choir presented Arkeology, Remembering God's Plan and Promise. Nathan was a monkey, who also rocked out with his guitar in the band. These kids did an awesome job and had a great time!

Porter's Going Away Party

Porter, Nathan, Aiden and Kailel (the four in the middle) are all buddies from kindergarten.

One of Nathan's first friends in his kindergarten class was Porter, who is now moving to California. Porter's parents gave him and his big sister a surprise going away party complete with games and good food a.k.a Hot Dogs! It was a great day for all the boys to be together at the end of their school year.

Field Day 2012

I do love being a stay at home mom when it allows me the freedom to be a part of things like Nathan's school activities. Field day was a lot of fun and Noah got to be a part too. It was hot outside but it just made those popsicles even better!

Happy Mother's Day

While I was gone running errands I came home to find these in the kitchen for me. Nathan had done this for me all by himself. This is what makes a mom happy even if it's not yet Mother's Day.

Amanda and Chris

We were blessed to have more family visit - Amanda and Chris. We had a great time just being together, seeing new sites and celebrating Nathan's birthday.
