New Friends

We are blessed to have new friends here in Paducah. Being a stay at home mom allows for a flexible schedule and lots of one-on-one time with Noah. But it's nice to have friends for me and Noah. Last week we had our first playdate at the park. Today Danielle brought Hudson and Oakley over to play. Here’s Hudson and Noah jamming together on the drums!

St. Patricks Day

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day big this year. We all wore our green on our trip downtown. We started at Kirchoff's bakery to pick up our picnic items. Turns out there were two men playing some Irish music for us. Nathan wanted to "rock out" with them in his own style. That's his big loaf of french bread he likes to eat that he is using as his guitar.

Noah is holding on tight to the shamrock cookies we got.Picnic Time!Nathan showing his favorite new pose. The boys love to sit on the benches and have a little snack even if we don't have a full picnic .

And a trip down to the water. We love to see the boats and barges and just enjoyed the beautiful weather today.

Big Balloon Surprise

A while back Nathan received a balloon as part of a prize package and when it popped he was crushed. He would bring it up from time to time how sad he was still about that red balloon being gone. So Shane decided to fill the boys' whole room with balloons and surprise him when he got home from school.

The surprise was a big hit and now we have a whole house full of balloons. I even climbed in and let the boys cover me with balloons to surprise Shane a little later. Wonder how long 75 balloons will last ....

Wild West Wednesday

Wild West Wednesday! I wanted Nathan to smile. He wanted to look mean like a cowboy. I think we got something in between. What a handsome cowboy!

Picnic at Noble Park

The spring weather is here and so we decided on a whim to pack the boys up, pick up some sandwiches and go have a picnic and play time at the park. The boys loved it. Nathan found one of his friends from school, Neveyah and her sister and had a big time playing with them. At the very end Nathan wound up with a busted chin. Though it hurts, it's all part of being a growing boy. And as I writing about this he is healing fine. God is good...all the time!

Sidewalk Chalk

Nate the Great!
Our homemade basketball court.
Ya!!!!!!!!!!!!! For sunshine Nathan says.
Noah is pointing to where he drew my name.

We decided to enjoy the sunshine even though it was a little cool outside today. We all had fun decorating the driveway with some chalk. I still enjoy sidewalk chalk myself!
