Nathan the Scientist

Shane helped Nathan be "Scientist of the Week" and make a volcano and present it to his class. He did a great job with his presentation and everyone in his class thought it was pretty cool too. Of course he's got a pretty cool dad to help him. I'm sure there will be bigger, messier and more fun projects to come.

Roller Skating

Today we took Nathan and Noah roller skating for the first time. We went with all the kids from Friendship and Nathan said he thought it was even more fun than Chuck E. Cheese. Pretty good considering he and I only made it around the rink once. But at least we didn't fall!

Weoldu Fashion

Weoldu brought several scarves with him that apparently many people wear. Aunt Sumer wears them now as well. Today our boys wanted to try them out. I think they are pretty awesome.

First Kentucky Snow

It's hard to see because it didn't say on the ground for long, but there is snow. Weldu's first time to play in the snow and our first time to see snow since we moved here. Maybe next time it will be a real snow day with no school.

Go Auburn

Even when we live in Kentucky we still have to cheer for our Auburn tigers, especially when they are playing UK! Go Tigers!

Welcome Weoldu

Weoldu is here to be a part of our family for a while. He is here from Ethiopia and has come to go to school in America for a year or so. He is very excited to be here and we are very excited to have him living with us. This is Weoldu ready for his first day of school at Christian Fellowship School.
